that's probably because they're written by women for women, like from my pov as a gay man it feels really stupid to be like "oh i like girls but you are the only exception" (they're just straight guys making exceptions lol) unless they're bi or something else but that's never really stated in comparison with the "ukes" whose sexuality is usually stated more clearly
