i mean alot of Shounen / Sports manga i have read alwys gets affected by that 1st year curse & ends .. be it Haikyuu or kuroko no basket
I really dont get the concept of why the story cant progress into their second year till professional career. Is it because the possibility of a rematch of the same team so it become boring? But the author can tackled that by bring a new rivals or the old rival that lvl up. Haikyuu for example can be explore lot more since the story itself is more focus on sports and how athlete had the right mindset to move forward and grow.. Especially in national stage. The fact that we only get a recap in 1 chaoter while we dont know how powerful itachiyama are, or how amazing kiryuu is, or how an unknown school won national by beating fukurodani when bokuto is the ace. And thats only in high school scene.. the fact that we didnt get to see any match beside jackal vs adlers in pro stage despite having all those mix and match team and also the chemistry slice of life from adler and jackals as a team, i am badly pissed bout that.
But then again for days, seiseki as a team the ending itself already marvelous. If the author continue it they probably need a new goal since the main goal already been achieved
For KnB, imo the ending was perfect and i dont think i want another season. From the beginning it was about friendship than the sport itself, at the ending kuroko got what he wished for, proving to his old teammates that his style of playing aint wrong and it much more fun which the miracle gen agreeing with him and become friends again. There isnt anything to explore.
yeah true but you know that sad feelings just wont go when a series u follow & loves ends when it could have continued ..well i also understands sometimes authors feels burns out .. but thirsty fans will always be thirsty afterall
The only story I know that really goes from kindergarten till the pro career and a little beyond is mayor.
Even the anime has all arcs and ends with his children picking up baseball as well.
I really am sad that this manga end after this arc.. this manga is soo good that i wish we continue to tsukamoto 2nd year and 3rd year... i man i get it that the 3rd year is the back bone but that doesnt men the junior cant bloom and become character that the reader rooted for. This always happen to good manga
