Nope at all. The needle is super small. Not even hurt. It just that we picture the dentist is scary so we think it is going to hurt. I felt scare of hurt too but then on the anesthetic injection, i realize that it wasn't hurt!!
Honestly, it does hurt a little just like any other needle would. It's a quick pinch and then it's over before you can say anything. Don't worry about it too much. (: I had countless needles from the dentist when i was around 8 because i didn't brush often. xD Man, i got to stay home from school and eat chicken soup tho. Good times. Hahaha.
Doesn't hurt...you'll feel a really slight poking type of feeling but nothing else. Most of the time I don't even realise that the dentist is over with the anaesthesia. If you're still afraid keep your eyes closed....that always works for me.
It's gonna feel really cold and that's all! Not even lying to you to give you an encouragement, it's the truth!
Oh my God. Thank you, guys! I'm really zoning out today trying to imagine what kind of pain I'll be feeling when I go this afternoon. The only time I ever went to the dentist to get my tooth extracted was when I'm really small so I can't remember anything. I grew up to be such a coward... (⊃д⊂)
Like Mary said, it feels exactly like getting a pinch. Then your gums will be numb.
Just don't think about it. Brace yourself, then think of your most favorite song and the application is over in like 2 seconds.

I think it depends on what procedure you're doing... for me an ordinary tooth extraction doesnt hurt a bit, but a wisdom tooth extraction hurts me.. my tooth is deep so the 1st inject isnt so effective and i still feel pain so my dentist had to inject me deeper, and that hurts like a bitch. Oh, im not scaring yoou, im just saying it depends on procedure and your pain threshold. :)
Oh, it's just ordinary. But my dentist postponed it again. She told me that she'll do it for sure next week. I think she wants me to die in anticipation. I'll have to gather courage again. Dang.
Guys! Thanks for the comments. They were really helpful! I finally did it and I'm so glad that it's a success! I actually had to be injected 5 times cause the anaesthesia did not work for the first four times and it didn't even hurt. Dentists are amazing people. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶(✪▽✪)

Yeah. Even the dentist thought I was kidding when I told her that I can still feel pain at the third injection. Maybe I'm just nervous.The extraction took for just freaking 2 minutes. It was so easy.
Guys, I have a question. Does it hurt so much when your gums was injected with anaesthesia? I'm going to the dentist and I'm having a panic attack cause I'm weak when it comes to physical pain.
