the plot is kinda running away from its original point

at this point i’m lost on how this could save her family from being murdered. this manhwa started off really good but the tension and darkness isn’t there anymore.

thinking back, i’m starting to realize she hasn’t done that much to save her family from murder or investigate the culprit. this whole time she was just running around as an adult baby trying to impress everyone with her brains and looks.

really liked this at first but might drop now

THANK YOU !!!! Like... how is being mean to a 12 year old girl going to save her father from being murdered? Does she even know what her father does for a living? Who his political allies and foes are? No she's all like, I have to sing for the church or it gets the church or folks music. Because apparently Cotton Eye Joe will save my family. I swear, every time she says folk song, All I can think of her is singing Cotton-Eye Joe. How is COTTON EYE JOE going to save her family?
You know what this is? This is a non sequitur. We're going to have non-sequiturs for at least 100 chapters. I'm seeing better job done by, "I Will be a Matriarch in this Life". That has a plot where a seven-year-old girl actually saved her father from dying and is finding out everything that had happened that caused the downfall of her family. This? This is like, "how I became a popstar!" ... they don't even have any family fluff to compensate the lack of sense going on.

Oh I think it became cringey when it showed a teenage boy taking pictures up a 12 year old girl's skirt. And then she decides to go to a gross Night club in the middle of the night, for no real reason, what was her stage name? Jailbait?! Yeah, we're beyond the realm of cringe.

Also one more thing to add... For protective older brothers, yo they're doing a piss-poor job. I haven't seen them protect her from stalkers, peeping Toms, pedophiles, and they never showed up at the club? Is she drugging them to sleep?

i think its bc lippe is keeping her activities a secret, she knows how overprotective they get so she isn't telling them her plans since they will prob get in the way

Yeah, I can imagine keeping her activities while she's at a friend's house is reasonable to a point. But sneaking out in the middle of the night? What did she tell her parents? She was going to a slumber party?
Also what is she doing by herself most of the day? What Happened to her protective and loving family? They barely make an appearance anymore. Not even her brother's! I mean like, she's not climbing down a window. She lives in a castle.
also she is at 12 years old. What is she doing going to these places and no one but her Harem is paying attention? At least have somebody in her family by her side. I mean like, I don't know if this is Victorian times or in between Victorian times in Renaissance times or whatever but I do know that girls weren't allowed to run around all willy-nilly. At least before 12 years old.
But you know what? I can excuse all that. I can! What gets to me? It's how she's not finding out what her family is about outside of Home. Does she even know any of her father's friends? They were all about her in the beginning and I loved it. But now they're like, side characters.
I'm reading this other reincarnation or second life where this little girl at 7 years old had already prevented so many tragedies that led to her family's downfall. She's learning about what business is going on, she's studying and she's actually getting into the meat of the bone of what happened to her family in the past .
This? It is turning into a non sequitur. I was really excited about the story. But it's so convoluted now.
I also don't get why these older teenage boys starting to chase her adolescent preteen little child. She's still a kid. She be like in the sixth grade or something. It was so cringy. There are a lot of scenes here there is cringy. I also barely recognize any of these other characters anymore. I think the only thing I was worried about was the pink haired guy. I just want to make sure he didn't end up as a murderer. He's the only one I can keep track of right now.
