How did you like this manhwa...i liked it but after realizing McQueen made a porn out of real serial rapist and its real rape victims i felt sick. And author didn't handel this huge flaw well. McQueen's apology for doing this shit was not elaborated enough. He only said that "now i know some themes like real serial rapist and victims are not meant to be in pornos" huh as if he didn't know as a smart artistic guy.

My two cents, it wasn’t focused on/elaborated enough. I didn’t fully realize what he did until he spelled it out in his apology. & I kind of left that there b/c it’s not often we see an apology that decent in yaoi. & it was insinuated that he didn’t upload it anywhere/was keeping it himself.

Also, as a creative person myself I see where he’s coming from. Some things/ideas need to stay in our heads or in a vault locked up somewhere though.

So basically he did that & it’s disgusting. BUT he left the porn industry, & gave a pretty good apology. The only thing I feel is missing would be an apology to the actors and crew that had to make it with him.

Honestly I couldn't describe it well why I like this manhwa. Tbh I have complicated feelings and opinions toward all the characters in this manhwa. But overall, I like it. The answer is everyone has their own taste and their opinion even tho they know there are flaws in some of the characters or the plots. But they still like it and that's it. You don't need to wondering why, just accept their opinion bcs they have their own judgement toward this manhwa. And also when you like smthing or someone, sometimes it's really hard to explain why I like him/her/that thing etc, and that's what I feel toward this manhwa. But if u need specific reason maybe I'd say I love the art. Thanks

Im sorry if my answer is too complicated haha. The point is, for me its really hard to describe it why I like this manhwa. Even tho I know there are some flaws in the characters and plot, I still like it. ╥﹏╥

If the author made McQueen's apology more sincere or if the author actually showed us how McQueen apologised to Ryan ( Ryan was one of the victims of that serial rapist) I could have forgive McQueen like how Ed did ...but my moral standards on the topic of rape is too sensitive

I am a little bit more sensitive because I personally know what it feels like to be a rape victim. Also....
Mcqueenesold the porn company for Ed. He gave its money to ed. What about the rape victims he offended? Imagine how the survivors felt when they watched someone made their suffering into porn?
And by the way the staff of the porn company knew about McQueen's real rapist porno. Remember janine described it as a unique experimental genre.....wtf. who experiment with real serial killers and rapist in PORN ...i would have understand it if it was a documentary but porn .....well McQueen tried to make a documentary later in order to atone for his sin but the documentary was never mentioned again because author decided it that way ...poor choice author made

I see where you’re coming from. They said McQueen didn’t release it/it was unfinished (he asked Ed to narrate it, which Ed didn’t end up doing). So there’s that. But I’m behind u 100%. Very poor decision on his part to even film that.

I still really like this story though. In general, It’s way more thought out & has wayy more depth than 90% of the stories out there (especially in this genre).

To me, his bad decision wasn’t enough to turn me away from reading & liking the story. But again, it should’ve been way more fleshed out with wayyy better apologies.

BUT if you don’t feel comfortable reading this, by all means I respect your opinion/decision! We all have very different experiences that change how we feel abt what we read!

You don’t have to like this story or even go back and try to read it b/c we like it. We’ve just been privileged enough to not have to be as sensitive when it comes to these topics.

I actually like this trope of stories : when someone who had lived a careless wild lecherous life(mcqueen) falls head over hills for someone else (Ed). But it's because I liked it that I got angry. Author had to ruin it for me in the worst possible way. Such a waste for such a beautiful drawing and potent story. McQueen flaw doesn't not match his character development . And it makes it worse that author just brushed off such sensitive topic.
