I think that therapy is the only way to put something like that behind you. I wouldn't think a person could do it alone. look at depression. if it's serious enough, the person can't get out on their own

I agree, but again therapy doesn't work for everyone, I am an extremely empathetic person to the point that I actually feel bad for the truama that the rapist went through, but at the end of the day I remind myself that they did a horrible thing that seriously affected someone's life
very serious. very difficult to handle that. there needs to be more people generous enough to help with victims and the troubles they face
