Anyway yeah. I love the father. He's cool and did everything he can. He's busy and have no time to sit down and talk to his son, but at least he never tell, or getting physical abuse to his own son. Although, sending his son immediately to oversea without talking properly might be actually bad too but- I'm glad they've sort out everything.
Anyway, he might not have realized foreign countries are still technically less conservative than Japan so it's not like it would change much except for possibly saving their reputation in their home country.
Tho the family's reputation and blackmailing thing was important, at that time he mainly sent him away so that he wouldn't be bullied at school (since he was a very busy single father) it didn't matter if the country was conservative or not.
