Finally someone with some sense when it comes to this character. I've had to struggle to survive (w/ my partner and my kids) and I can tell you 100% if I had an opportunity to kill people for money I would of done it in a heartbeat. People dont realize what it's like to fear can I feed my kids today do I have enough money to pay bills this month am I gonna get kicked out of the place I'm renting. They also dont understand what people will do in dire situations to fix their money situation or at least make sure their family stays feed clothed healthy and happy

True.. + ppl are glanzing over why FL chose the Black knights to begun with.. it was the pay (to pay of her debt). And the reason Black knight get a better pay is because..
1: They do the "dirty" work other knights dont. (has bad rep for this)
2: They are have more dangers than other knight orders. (hence getting paid more)
3: They can be used as scapegoats if needed. (FL's death is a prime example).
The Black knights are literaly the kingdomes "clean up crew" who deal with all the stff "political correctness" cant..
Do ppl realy think a kingdome can function on Honor and political correctless and law? How many nobels are doing shitty stuff but cant be aprehended because of lack of evidence, how do ppl think those are gotten rid of? By White knight's honor? or by sending ing the secret taskforce?
She was a scumbag, but she learned from her mistakes tho. Gotta love a person who is willing to acknowledge their mistakes and have the courage to change.
So many ppl are calling Mc a scumbag.. for not following "the honor of a knight" and not having sworn a "knights oath".. and working for money..
Like realy? First of lets look at what we know:
1: FL is a commoner with no father mentioned, only a mother who was sick.
2: FL worked and trained from an young age to earn money for survival and her mothers treatment.
3: As Fl worked and grew older, so grew her debt for things like medical care for her mother, gear, cloths, housing, training.
4: Fl became a knight because it was a job with a garanteed wage. (This is also one of the main reasons commoners become knights in mangas).
5: Fl is considers a Genious by the knight comanders.
6: Fl may not have sworn loyalty, but she was loyal to her superiors as long as she got her pay.
7: FL was given the order to kill the prince, and did what she was orderd to do.
8: Fl was killed by her superior for killing the prince.
9: Fl was reincarnated to before all of this happend.
Sure Fl can be considers greedy and emotionless. But considering what we know about her so far, we know she had to work as a child while also training the sword in order to qualify to enter the academy to become a knight. This means minimal emotional growth and can be seen in her atitude. Yes she grived her friends death, but she still had to work to pay off her debt and to pay for her mothers medical care at a hospital. Yet she is called cold hearted for not crying and trying to pay off said debt.
For those saying FL has no sense of loyalty or honor.. then how come FL felt betrayed when her comander tried to kill her? Yes she worked under him for money, but she still had some trust for him and loyaty for him. If not then she wouldnt have felt betrayed, nor hurt by learning that to him she was just a "dog".
Also.. in case many of you didn't know.. there are many difrent types of knight orders..
1: The knight who uphold the law.
2: The knights who protect the king / emperor at all cost.
3: The primary war knights.
4: The knights who are sent as reinforcement to both the war knights and any other knight order that needs it.
5: The dark knights / black knights who do the "dirty work" other knight orders dont, this includes spying, silencing threats, assassinations and other "dirty work" that could cause comotions. And all of this is done in the name of the Empire / kingdome. These are also the knights tasked with "Removing" and unfit candidate for ruler.
How many mangas have you read where a King / Emperor became so because the "first in line" was either assassinated or died "naturaly". I have read many where it is them mentioned that they were "removed" from the sucsession line because they wernt fit, and this was done by a taskforce in "the shadows" for the future of the country..
These taskforces are also called "Black knights", "The fanthom knight order",
"Shadow knights" and many other names.. Its common knowlege that in mangas is a knights uniform is White it means = clean, rightious, honor and loyal aka the face of the order. And that if the unifor is black = dark, dirty, and generaly do the jobs the "honorable" knights dont.
