Your honestly right, plus even if they did have a relationship it would be hard for the both of them cause of a lot of things happening around right now and you would never know that maybe one of them might get badly hurt because of it
I get why he turned her down, it would have been slightly concerning if he did decided to start a romantic relationship with her.
