Frederick, northeon's 'king' if you remember, was obssessed with finding Y/Jessica. He planted a spy on Agnes's maids and before he was to go back to northeon, he found Agnes's actions to be strange. Agnes was indeed on her way to Yessica's safe house to meet her eventhough Alex made her promise not to visit Yessica anymore due to the risks of being found out.
Frédérick follows her and finds Jessica. Agnes who felt guilty for being a burden to Yessica everytime, decided to stab her chest with Frederick’s sword.
