By bureau of investigaytion i was confused at first but its abt kiribakus strong emotions abt each other. how bakugo is willing to be vulnerable and jump into the pit, towards his feelings, towards kiri knowing he'll be there to catch him ► from the translator, "I tried to translate it as how it is, cause english is subj-verb-obj whereas japanese is sub-obj-verb... and how they frame the lines page by page does affect impact I reckon... so like the page where I put it as "Where I'm jumping into" and then the next page "you should be there" 飛び込んだ先に お前がいればいい may sound awkward (again because of svo vs sov).. but I swear I got shivers and I thought I should retain that sentence structure because, impact.
And then at the end, where baku finds out that kiri essentially feels the same... A++
So while I don't think it's falling together (or at least for baku pov), it's more that baku is not afraid, because at the end of that seemingly bottomless pit, kiri is there... And getting that they're both "consumed" together i.e. get burned down til not even ashes remain (which I think also has to do with baku's quirk)"
