GAH I don't know if it was mentioned but did the grandfather close down the shop because the seme told him about the uke? Sorry if this isn't correct or if it was mentioned and I didnt read it correctly

No, it wasn't mentioned why.
The grandpa approached him and just told him they were closing it down.
And closing down a store that means your whole life to you just because your grandson is gay wouldn't make sense anyways lol
