No, I don’t think it ever said anything about her wanting the blonde to love her back. She died because she was way too prideful about her having a visible spirit, putting her in line to gain the throne. Correct me if I’m wrong.
she was fighting with her blonde cousin for the throne and was the villain because of that. no romance because that’s her cousin but the OG character did not like him in the story.
I did think she was caught between the romance between the blonde and someone else iirc or I may be thinking of it wrong.
