I never took u as aggressive or this as a fight. This can be an argument cause arguments don’t have to be hateful. It can simply be about sharing two different opinions which we are doing. I’m also thankful that you’re staying respectful. I don’t think Maxine is weak tho, cause standing up after abuse like that is not being weak, that’s a huge ass strength. Just for me personally, she’s too submissive. Tho when it comes to BL and GL (idk about GL I didn’t read it yet, tho I have stories I wanna) I kinda agree, but actually the reason I stopped reading BL and especially Yaoi is just how freaking toxic it was. It glorifies rape culture kinda, like it sexualizes, normalizes and romanticizes rape, sexual harassment and overall abusive and toxic relationships. That’s why I stopped reading it. So I would say that BL has different problems. But yeah, when it comes to this story Maxine is just a bit too submissive to me, especially when Tiffany just basically wrecks her anytime he gets cause he gets turned on by the stupidest things lmao Don’t get me wrong, I see nothing wrong with having a lot of sex, it’s just seems as if she’s like “U want it? Oh okay” rather then she wants it herself. Like she’s doing it just for him cause she’s his wife and she has to rather then she actually wants to. I do like her, I think that she can have amazing development (tho on her place I would ask them to teach me sword in cases like that when Riftan leaves and u gotta protect your own people) but yeah her character for me overall is just not my taste. I prefer like dominant characters, maybe cause I’m also as a girl, very dominant.
