I'm sure he wasn't completely blameless. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they were in the right. But do you honestly believe he was an innocent party?
Not innocent but he's never pretend to be someone he wasn't, cause his previous marriages was for convinience and he didn't care... But now he really loves the FL that's why he try to change himself...
Hopefully he learns how to show his love like a man instead of a possessive child.
Also hope he matures enough to set a good example for his child.
I also think that Ingrid needs to learn to love. She have the whole "noble" grace thing down, but she is just a well trained child. What she did to him was wrong on so many levels.

I get he's trying to close the door to his past life, but is it absolutely necessary for him to be such an asshole? Can't he conduct himself like a gentleman? If he wants to be worthy or Ingrid, his sentiments not mine, conduct himself accordingly. There are times in life where you must interact with people you detest. Nut up & quit acting like a little boy. His personality is the main reason I don't really love this. And I don't find Ingrid's childlike looks to be "worthy" of being the white dear.
