Kinda agree with this it's like after she saw her child's future as a queen she didn't bother to change it and just set her aside kinda like throw her and focus on her other child. It's like you'll become a terrible queen in the future so I have no need of affection for you... Although I don't want to judge the queen but even after some time finding out that pryde has change I can't still see her efforts here?

If the Mother had a premonition of a bad future then she should have done something. She should have loved her, care for her because she's her daughter too. Why neglect a child when that child can still grow into a good person? No wonder she grew to be a villainess without a care for her people since she was neglected.
