Forced does not mean that a person is threatening you, it can also mean so many things (income, family situation, opportunities, the society and place where you live, raze) is not the same for everyone, just because a 10% does it make look like is good and is a luxury it doesn’t mean that is the rule, when a 90% suffers it greatly. Because in most part of the world, even in developed nation. Prostitution is an unprotected occupation where it's worker usually got involved not by their own volition but by lack of choice or straight up trafficked. It's not that unusual for people to change for safer better paying job with better environment when the opportunity rise isn't it?
why do stories with sex workers always end with them quitting? they never show a healthy relationship where the characters still date and one of them is doing their job without being shamed for it or having their partner want them to quit, they act like sex work isn't a good enough job and yes it's not the most safe and consistent and you cant do it forever but it's still a job nonetheless
