yeah i agree with everything here! except maybe the dull tone with lucy? i didn’t read that as such. it feels like he genuinely cares for lucy as a friend plus he keeps asking about her (i still don’t get why) so even most people would get the wrong idea
idk tbh. for me it felt as though he doesn't gaf about anyone other than the fl, so he was just checking up on lucy to be considerate but thats just my analysis.
can yall stop bashing the female lead for being "dumb"? yall are so fucking insensitive considering she's been abused for all of her childhood. she interprets amon's aggressive concern as his being mean, and his dull tone with Lucy as him being nice so its obvious she would misunderstand. he also tends to get flustered around her, then run to Lucy straight after which would be another possibility of his crush on Lucy. most people wouldn't be so oblivious on the topic, but bridy isn't like most. because of the trauma she inflicted at a young age she cant tell the difference between aggression and concern, and love and checking up .
