Thanks for giving light to my hazy mind hahahaha I also have this thinking that since Athy already knew the past of his father and uncle, she might be the one who will make Anastacius realize that his father truly loves him. And this is also a wild guess, but I think there might be a time in the future where claude/athy/jennette will be put in danger, then Anastacius will save them causing him his own life and thinking that it will be the payment for his sins or that the least thing he could do as Claude's brother. Hahahahaha me and my imagination keeps on swirling hahahaha. This is just a wild guess though.
Now, i’m sure of the reason as to why Anastacius had acted so HORRID to Claude;;. As you can see in this chapter, when they were younger, Claude had a reaallyyy good brotherly relationship with Anastacius. but, then we see the next memory where Anastacius is being a d*ck to Claude. But if you look closely, you’ll actually see Anastacius’s eyes glowing red, which is a sign that Aeternitas was taking over Anastacius’s body! A couple chapters ago, there was a scene where younger Claude was looking for Anastacius, and once he found him he saw Anastacius looking up with a very dark and dissociated look on his face. Then we see what Anastacius was looking at, which was a very eerie fog, almost in the shape of a person. The ‘fog’ is actually Aeternitas (maybe his soul or something similar) which is confirmed when it showed Anastacius slowly dying after Claude stabbed him, which resulted with the fog showing up already revealed to be Aeternitas, which then shows Aeternitas possessing Anastacius completely. This means that Aeternitas was already in full contact with Anastacius when he was a child. WHICH ALSO MEANS THAT SINCE ANASTACIUS WAS UNDER AETERNITAS’S INFLUENCE, HE BEGAN TO HATE CLAUDE. Another major reason which resulted to Anastacius hating Claude is that in the same chapter which Anastacius was stating up at the fog, it showed Anastacius’s mom basically verbally abusing him saying he shouldn’t let Claude or anyone beat him, and that he had to take Claude down to take over the throne, etc. All these things combined with probably more 100% brainwashed Anastacius to hate his brother he once loved. It’s really tragic if you think about it, but at this point he can’t be forgiven with the things he has done. Again, these are just the assumptions i’m
extremelyyyy confident in hehe, but now that our lovely emperor has awoken and our lovely princess will reunite with him soon, things for almost everyone, including myself, will become resolved and absolutely amazing!! GYAAAAAH i’m so excited(≧∀≦)
