and not in the fun way. When will Taichi ever grow up and take this relationship seriously? He never thinks through his actions. Don't even get me started on the rape. Cut that teary face shit out (i'm talking about the key scene) I hate how manipulative he is. If Nao wants nothing to do with him, Taichi wants to be friends. When Nao wants to be friends, he wants them to date. When Nao decides to give in to their feelings and attraction to each other he backs off. When Nao wants a clean break or no break, he wants some half assed on his terms in the middle non-relationship. How can he pick and choose when to ignore Nao's feelings? If Nao wants to be brave about their relationship and face the wrath of their homophobic society; he should let him. If he's not brave enough than he should let him go. When they were trying to be only friends, and he knew it was mutual he didn't let Nao deny his feelings for him. But now that he's scared he think it's okay to ignore that Nao loves him? Sure, Taichi think he's doing this for his own good. But he's never been truly altruistic. He's too selfish and always has been.
