Also stop obsessing over the n word like it’s your whole identity ur alive, well, and I doubt that drawing saying an added word written by a black person was threading to you. I bet your from tiktok; keep this weird race obsessed energy over there and just enjoy the manga and translations. Or don’t, and just drop it.

You sound really goofy. I don’t know what kind of world that you live in to tell someone else not to be upset about a slur used against them. Racism didn’t just become a thing because of tiktok, people aren’t upset over this word because of tiktok. It’s a word that has been used to dehumanize black people for over 400 years. I hate to break it to you bub but the n word is going to forever be intertwined with blackness, people can’t just take off their skin. If anyone is obsessed with the n-word it’s the nonblack people who take it upon themselves to tell black people whether they can or cannot use it. Or whether or not they’re allowed to feel offended by it. Even if you’re black and your personal belief is to not say the word it doesn’t mean you speak for the whole community. It’s a word that has been reclaimed by the race it’s used against to give it new meaning in THEIR community and culture. No one who isn’t black should be using the word, point blank period. Whether or not they felt threatened by the word doesn’t make it okay to use it, especially when there isn’t even a black character in the manhwa. Especially because the scene it was used in was using the word as a derogatory.
From the way you responded to the original comment I’m going to assume that what I say is going to go in one ear and out the other or you’re going to reply and say something ‘edgy’.

I genuinely have nothing to do so I’ll take the time to answer this.
Annoying of you to assume how I’m going to respond because I actually agree with some things you said. But given the situation, right now, I don’t. Obviously it is true that the n-word has very dark historical the context. But judging by the way you responded to my comment, I can see that you completely side eyed everything I said and drew a straw-man response that didn’t correlate with the context of the situation given what she said or how I responded. You also spouted shit from thin air to fit your narrative and though you did something (I’ll get back to this later) Just because you’re getting really technical, I will too. So before I write this long as essay and get started on breaking down everything you said I want to clear up some misconceptions and change the faulty framework you established in ur text above. First off, I’m going to put forth some context that you clearly missed regarding this whole little talk so we can actually be on the same page just incase you decide to actually answer me and not your imaginary friend next time. So let’s start with some background information: This translator is black; they decided to make a joke (something they found funny or light hearted) which included them putting the n-word in a clean speech bubble of a drawing who’s character had white skin. ( to explain in a way that makes sense to you and up your mmm logic; this black person was participating in the act of reclaiming the word that had been used against them for hundreds of years. To this black translator it was most likely a harmless little joke or meme that she though other black people would somewhat relate to and if the readers weren’t black they could still somewhat appreciate the joke) Besides, if we want to take it to another extreme like you did, this joke should be celebrated because historically this shows that the word has been reclaimed to it’s almost fullest at a point where a black person could make a joke or meme of it. Moving on, The person that wrote the convo topic was mad and didn’t look deeper then the word or the surface yet found it appropriate to, be overtly offended by basic reclamation of a word or quite frankly, a beneficial joke. Further, the topic writer saw this as “ OH no not a white cartoon character saying the n word” and deeming it as racist. Racism is such a delicate topic that throwing it at everything and anything is washing out the meaning. That’s one reason I found her comment distasteful. But hey, like me she CAN have an opinion. Because as a human being I “live in a world” were freedom of expression is valued. We both expressed ourself and both got our point across. Though I did find it in me to invalidate hers at least I have the strong logic to back it up. Finally going to my comment. I said “stop obsessing over the n word like it’s your whole identity” and I stand by that. Black people aren’t all mighty gods that don’t have collective weird opinions and as a black person myself I find it appropriate to call out linguistic abuse. What I mean by that is many black peoples in this society didn’t grow up knowing the n-word was a derogatory term used against them. Personally, It wasn’t until later at school that I learned about it’s history. Over the recent years due to social media platforms like tiktok, there has been an epidemic of weponizing the n word in a way that’s is abusing its meaning and is (in my view and many others p) brain washing black peoples into thinking that the n word sums up there whole identity and that they should subconsciously feel inferior to others that aren’t black. I saw this concept shine through her comment. When now, with the simple mention of the word through a carton character without little direct meaning, this topic creator seems genuinely offended and inferior to the simple color of peach through a screen. Before anything I think it’s sad. NOW LET ADRESS YOUR RESPONSE TO MY COMMENT SENTENCE BY SENTENCE. (I will number the sentences and without quoting unless necessary) Before you ask, no I don’t have a life lmfao. 1. You sound more “goofy” then me lmao 2.Already responded early 3. Already responded 4. okay 5. See this where you are responding to things I never even said so idk how I should respond to this bud. 6 Mk i won’t disagree with that statement but I stand by what I said that people need to stop obsessing over the n word in general. 7 Already backed up my judgment above 8. I agree with this statement. Like I said. Black people aren’t one Identity we all have different experience at life we all have different background and we all have different opinions on different subjects. No one person is the same and this is one of the reason I don’t like bunching up a whole entire race and stereotyping behaviors just to categorize it as a a part of "black culture" or the "black community" when those things shouldn’t even be categorized in those too boxes but this again is a result of soleils media herds and brainwashing influence. Which btw backs up the statement wrote about the n word earlier. 9 sure, already explained my view on that and btw never said anything against that 10. That’s a whole other discussion that I have a VERY long opinion on so I won’t be going there but i already briefly explained how I felt about this earlier. 11. This is manhua everyone is Asian. And I see what your trying to say but there not having a black character in the manhua has nothing to do with anything and I explained the whole joke aspect earlier. 12 not really and I explained why.
WOW okay I made sure to write things in detail because like you, I’m going to assume that for the way you responded, you are going to take something I said out of context or disregard the picture I was trying to paint and just focus on the smallest detail of words to fit your unrelated narrative as best as possible instead of looking at what I actually wrote. Maybe you’ll make up a thing or two but for that I wrote a lot of things so you could go back and see what I said instead of making assumptions of my opinions on such political topics. .
Ps: I wrote this mostly because it’s fun for me because I literally have no life and miss school so if you feel like responding like "damn that’s too long goodbye" I would be fine
YOU DID NOT JUST TYPE THE N-WORD INTO THIS MAnGA are you fr? WTF you just ruined my mood makes me want to drop this rn even if you were black that is an ASIAN CHARACTER THEY ARE NOT BLACK that's literally RASCIST WYEGDiuGWYYb
