I know in some stories when they come back it can be at any time like past/present/future. So maybe when the other dies of old age or something they might come back at the same time & try again. I like to think of it this way so I don't feel as sad.
Maybe Hide will get reincarnated. There'll be like 15 years age gap but it can still work ╥﹏╥
