Late to the game replying here. But I have read some abo where omegas are considered top of the food chain because they legit can make anyone do anything they want with enough pheromones or have so much legal protection that they are treated like beings to worship almost. Tho as you said would be nice to find one where everyone's kinda fucked from the abo stuff happening
the only reason i dislike omega verse stories and AUs is because even if irl we aren't seen as alphas omegas or betas, omegas remind me a lot about my place as a woman in our patriarchal society. its always an alpha who has to "save" an omega but aren't alphas in rut just as vulnerable as omegas in heat? so why are omegas treated so roughly? i hate that about omegaverse stories but otherwise im good w it.
