uhm his relationship with Hazukin was basically his second chance lmao
he already fucked up with Yuki and he messed up with Hazuki too. so basically this is his third chance already.
it's also safe to assume he's the cause why Yuki got himself into accident. Yuki had to disappear too and based on real life if those happen to especially someone like Yuki(gloomy, clumsy, nerd), it's traumatizing. those alone are too much to give Watanabe a second chance.
