What was the reason? I never quite understood why he did that.
To protect Rou rou from the feng's. He suspects his parents death was cause by his uncle and was scared that any child that came from him would be in danger so he let someone else raise him till now. Obviously that was awful, understandable yes, but still awful. They've clearly made up over that now that so yeah

I still have a hard time forgiving Feng changing the samples and "proclaiming" himself a father when all the work was done by Yi.
I understand his reasons, but that was VERY selfish and unfair.
