if you read the novel, it’s makes much more sense because we read it from jinwoo’s pov. it’s not that obvious in the manhwa but he thinks of this outing as a date, so it’s not a completely hopeless romance.
but i totally get how you feel, it’s a little unnatural at this point in the story

oh no your fine! and don’t worry about the romance at all, it’s suuuper minor. like after this date chapter they don’t touch on it again for a loooooong time. one of the best fights in the whole story is coming soon, so keep holding on!! it’s definitely worth it!!!!
