I think they do have relationship. But even if they not really dating still Liz is stupid for doing something like this to Maki, she should get her shit together. Or better Maki should leave her and find someone better
we cant call that a "relationship" if they don't short out their feelings for each other, let say they do love each other but they can't have romantic relation 'cause they didn't confess their feelings.
