Maybe Satsuki had feelings for Asami and in fear of the sickness or her clone accidentally blurting out her feelings to Asami she kept it all inside, getting stressed to the point that her clone started thinking that Asami was the 'bad guy', topped with her feeling that way towards a girl and the growing distance between her and Sayomi.
