Ok now that I've had some time to think and cool down, I'm really starting to appreciate how complicated all the characters are. Both haruma and sudou had did messed up things due to their messed up pasts and circumstances. Shinitani treated both of them with kindness when they were vulnerable and that's why they both took a liking to him. Shinitani is too weak to pitiful people, and that's his strength and weakness. He gets taken advantage of by sudou because he chooses haruma over the manipulative sudou. And as I thought more about the part where he calls haruma and breaks it to him that he needs him to get his sister and he's gonna stay with sudou, it dawns on me that shinitani would not be shinitani if he did not do that. As in, he can't possibly leave the pitiful sudou who is in a bad situation because of the shitty circumstances of his life and choices, because despite all the things sudou has done to him and haruma, he still can't leave him alone in what you could say, the most vulnerable situation sudou has been in. This is the Crux of shinitani's character. If he'd left sudou, he wouldnt be the same person that took care of haruma earlier in the story. Except now, shinitani's actions are shitty and awful because although he already has haruma and already assured him he truly loves him, Shittytani is just fucking and comforting sudou without even thinking about haruma, who went and ensured the safety of his sister. I get saving sudou's life, but the most disgusting thing is that his pity kink is so bad he just cannot keep himself from fucking sudou. haruma has been horribly taken advantage of so much, by others and sudou and now Shittytani, he doesn't deserve this. Once again, what a tragedy.
God, how I hate the dumpster fire this manga is and how tragic and angsty it is but it's literally living in my mind rent free.
Regardless of their complex personalities, they’re all fucking annoying and fucked up except for Kikuchi. I was shocked when Shitani just left Kikuchi with his sister to run away with Sudo Budo.
The person I wanna just smack is Shitani and then next comes Sudo Budo.
You are correct, for me Shit-tani is a main villian for this manga. He is a monster for me who hide behind his kind, genuine and innocent face that he project. He is a manipulator and forced Kikuchi to suck his dirty d*** which Kikuchi didn't want to and what reason he gave... To save his sister?? Are you kidding me.. If he wants to save his sister why did not he come himself. In the end he abandoned his sister and Kikuchi. B*****d. (╬￣皿￣)凸
His weakness for pitiful people is just fucking dumb. Wonder how he got that weakness. Aside from that, both him and Sudo can disappear for good. I’d like a good wholesome story with Kikuchi moving on and finding someone who loves him not out of pity but true love
Now that I think of, Shit-tani always like Sudo from the first chapter (The dog scene) and he always thought about Sudo while doing with Kikuchi and on the other hand he never even really care about Kikuchi when he was with Sudo. He does have some kind of kink for the pitiful people.
Whatever I only care about Kikuchi and I hope in the next vol the situation will improve and those guys gets their karma. But I highly doubt about it cause there also that yakuza guy (suji) which I think he will be came back. I only hope for the best.
My only wish is for Shitani and Sudo to suffer the worst.
Why does shitty tani say one thing but do another? I don't get why he ever told haruma he loves him when he clearly was not only attracted to sudou but fucking him every EVERY single time he possibly could. When it was kikuchi or his sister, He abandoned kikuchi completely for the possibility of saving his sister, going as far as fucking sudou right on top of him but when sudou was in trouble, he chose to stay with sudou instead of getting his sister, instead telling kikuchi to go get his sister, AFTER knowing that kikuchi would do anything for him and knowing that he'd never refuse. And then! While they're going to the grandparents house, shitty tani has not a care in the world. He's just so relieved and so into the pitiful, sad sudou and fucking him.
Haruma deserves better than this manipulative, wishy washy jerk. But the truly sad thing here is that for haruma, it'll always be shinitani. Even after shinitani fucked the guy that abused haruma to hell and back right in front of him, he was still willing to do anything for shinitani. Haruma' story is doomed as a tragedy, Sudou is the pitiful villain that gets everything he wants in the end with no consequences, and Shittytani will continue to be the beacon of kind light for those two while stringing them along for his own needs.
I'm not optimistic at all about what will happen in the next volume.
