staying here because I’m in the same situation
I really liked watching it tbh. It does take its time especially the series but at the same time it has a little something for the broken part in all of us. So yess do and the watch order watch the series first, then the psychedelic end of evangelion (i personally liked the ending here ngl) then the spinoffs after that the movies are pretty cool as well... hope it helps (⌒▽⌒)
