those are 3d models lmao. its easier to just use the model instead of having to draw the background for everything ffs. its just a digital art technique.

the art studios probably use clip studio paint or just share the same resources? ive noticed that a lot of the brushes used are clip studio paint and the art program does provide a 3d background feature...
