I think protecting her from the arrow was a part of his plan. When he woke up he said it took longer than he expected. Also it made h a 'hero' and clear of any suspicion
It’s not that she is stupid but she is so focus on the story going like the novel that she just let the plot pass. She was more interested in playing Cupid than anything else. I feel like the development of Mia and the financier were much better than Leanne and the emperor. It’s going to such if they make Leanne find out the plot just cause she is fl.
I feel like this is a really good isekai, I truly enjoyed reading long chapters and developments, tbh until I saw some panels around ch.20 of eyes glowing and the governor dark eyes i wouldn't have suspected him, i thought he would be a love int.
I truly like this all, Leana isnt stupid and portrays the perfect fear of being in another world and the story doesnt follow a book.
Really, such good feelings... I'm sure the governor will win but then loose because he protected her instead of letting her die to the arrows :)
