Eventually, when many things happened in the story, that brother and his family I think was forbidden to enter to the main house and they must only stay in the annex I think. (The annex is only use for the guest) So basically, it means that he lost his power of being a Lombardi.

SO FROM WHAT I READ SOMEWHERE, THE HUSBAND IS AN A-HOLE LEGIT. HE‘S STEALING MONEY FROM LOMBARDI WHILE PRETENDING TO LOVE THE WIFE. AND ALSO THAT MF IS CHEATING ON HER. EVEN BEFORE THE MARRIAGE THE MF HAS A LOVER AND HE’S STILL KEEPING IN TOUCH WITH THE BTCH EVEN AFTER MARRIAGE. THERE WAS A SCENE THAT THE ASSHOLE STOLE A BROOCH FROM THE WIFE’S BELONGINGS BUT THAT BROOCH WAS GIVEN BY HER MOTHER, WHICH IS THE WIFE OF THE LOMBARDI HEAD WHEN SHE WAS STILL ALIVE AND THE ASSHOLE GAVE THE BROOCH TO HIS MISTRESS AND WEARS IT. SO OUR MC LURED THE BITCH TO HER GRANDFATHER AND THEN THE GRANDFATHER SAW THE BROOCH WHICH HE RECOGNIZED IT THAT RESULTED TO HIM BEING ENRAGE.
