What if ML doesn't want to study abroad and comes back?
I saw another comment saying that too. Like if the ML is born abroad, at that point for him home becomes abroad so he would just come back at that point

Where did it go wrong?
I think it was more about studying there for the sake studying at the best possible place, rather than just studying there for the sake of studying "abroad"... though Id' imagine it's still quite possible for the duke's own hometown to become the new place in the next 15 years or so with the "best worldwide education" (≧∀≦)
Well the problem is if you start changing stuff then stuff will change
