Reading the part about Ah Si and Xinnian confused the hell out of me.. read that part like six times and still don’t really understand… so there are 2 Xinnian? … He gets a happy ending? Someone please help
from what I understand, the xin nian who we are seeing right now is fake, in earlier chapters he kept saying he was reincarnated but that was explained further. the fake xin nian is the beggar body that the real xin nian is inhabiting, so basically switch soul rather than reincarnation? i think from that spoiler the real xin nian gets a happy ending as he ended up with ah si which is qu cheng assistant.
So the Xinnian that I hate and want horrible things to happen to is the one that got plastic surgery… right . So that also means that the real Xinnian is who we are rooting for and doesn’t know all the horrible things that the fake did to the family? Qu Cheng just want to settle everything without informing cinian coz he wants to surprise him. So basically, That yue yue guy is the younger brother of the one who helped Qu Cheng in the beginning and the original boss of the gang before Chengcheng replaced him, and before that guy died Qu Cheng promised that he will take care of his younger brother for him. Then that yueyue guy left the gang for 10 years and returned for Qu Cheng and Qu Cheng's position and money. Now that he returned, he wanted to be with qu cheng but cheng cheng saw that as a opportunity to let go his position and just want to give back the position of being the boss of the gang to yueyue so he can quit being a gangster and can be with Cinian all the time but yueyue didn't agree with it because if qu Cheng's not in the gang then there's no reason for him to be back in the gang, so Qu Cheng's having a hard time convincing yieyue. There's nothing going on between them guys qu cheng just see yueyue as his younger brother.

Okay so i cried in the ending. I just want to share. Xinnian, Cinnian's brother became a beggar, he loved cinnian because he gave him money and a handkerchief only to realize he was his brother. But what to do, he was living in a different body. When other homeless guys are beating him, he was found by Ah Si. Ah Si took care of him and they fell in love. He also went to see cinnian when he knew he was hospitalised, gave him fruits and flowers then run away. Going home Ah si was so mad, threatened him that he will lock him up if he disappear like that again. Ah si is scarier than Qu Cheng.
They confessed to each other but suddenly, this FAKE xinnian escaped and kidnapped wowo. Ah Si insulted Xinnian that he is dirty and illegitimate child, which was heard by the true Xinnian. He ran away. After one year, Xinnian is stalking Cinnian when he was caught by Ah Si. Then he confessed that he is the real Xinnian. So Ah Si introduce him to Cheng and Cinnian. Cheng assumed that he is Ah Si's wife. Children liked Xinnian. Then huhuhu Xinnian gave the handkerchief and a carved wood to Cinnian as a gift for his wedding which he's almost crying. Then he called him brother. Cinnian also cried. And yeah. I cried too.
