Completely agree! Director of live adaption tends to change some stuff from the original story to have something 'new' on the plots which is not what we want at all

If you are all for new content, I guess a drama is fine, but I personally wouldn't be able to look over changes because of how much I actually enjoy the original story. I guess you could say I enjoy a retelling, but not an adaptation.
Sometimes adaptations are 100% aligned to the original work, but the thought is too risky for me because that rarely happens. However I would like it for the author to get more recognition and I know a different platform would help.
I mean yeah since they'd change some of the parts and I'd be sad abt it too since I LOVEEEEEE this so much and I wouldn't dare to overlook something in this story but in the end it's still the same story and it would really bring some of us happiness like me if they do bc that means it's getting the recognition it deserves and seeing this in a live version will make my heart go poof, butterflies would be on my stomach</3
I want the recognition for the author because she deserves it! Love her other work too! Just that personally I feel like an adaptation would not do the story justice and I probably won't enjoy it. So many things come to play too with an adaptation. What if the cast can't capture the characters well too? @.@ Just me over analyzing lol
One of my worries actually, but if they do make an adaptation, I wouldn't want for them to just pick an actor/actress just bc they're famous but bc they're really good at acting as the characters but then again who am I to have a say in it lol
And I love her other work too XD and ye almost every adaptation really doesn't do the original webtoon or novel justice since when you already read the original's it would feel different as they would have left out many scenes out and add some new scenes as well. I'm fine with that but again it just feels different when your read the original:))
Yea definitely agree. Only a good actor can pull off jieum. Well if there is an adaption, we can only hope.
Um... is it just me or does anyone else think a drama adaptation would just ruin the story? I don't think the director would keep everything the same. I want to respect that it is an adaptation and not a retelling, but it hurts to see a good story get butchered up.
