No, he doesn't. He tries however he does not get everything out on the table.
And her concern is reasonable since he got her killed in the orginal novel.
I hate everyone here, the ml doesn't communicate properly or clarify shit, the fl pretends to be concerned but doesn't listen to him at the same time also is like he is my friend but doesn't notice how his mother treated him, the other FL is just straight up weird, the only one decent here is the second ml.
