It's subtle. Remember it's Spring when he hurt himself so when he left it was still spring, maybe early summer Then it's late fall, early winter. So he was gone for probably 4-6 months
Yeah I agree, I was so lost because they looked different and they acted like they haven't seen each other in awhile
The first time I read this chapter I knew I missed something and I went back and noticed the time skip, but I feel like it wasn't portrayed as well as it could have. I still love this story and am ever so glad he finally remembered. I wish they'd define the time skip a little more clearly. To some people it might have been clear but for myself it was a little blurry.
