I think it's hard for indonesian webtoon to be featured on english webtoon, the only indonesian webtoon that got translated is eggnoid

Maybe it's easier if indo authors started from english canvas since the beginning to get featured rather than get translated

There are some good thai webtoons as well that translated to indonesia, i think english webtoon haven't translated a thai webtoon at all

Yeah that's what i was hoping for. Since eggnoid was translated i was hoping that this would be too. It's kinda sad how this gem wouldn't be known internationally yet.

I'm quite sure eggnoid made it to english webtoon because it's one of those old indonesian webtoon (you can say eggnoid is kinda 'senior' in indonesian platform) and used to have 99.999+ likes

I personally like 'hate you 999 times' too, but it's a baby, it just won the contest last year and immediately got official at the same period as 'blind to you' (blind to you is also uploaded in mangago)

What i'm saying is, yes i would love this webtoon to be featured on english platform as well, but unfortunately there are a lot of older and more popular indonesian webtoons that never make it to english webtoon, some of them already translated to thai, taiwanese, chinese (dongmanmanhua), and japanese (line manga), but only eggnoid made it to english, if it's that hard for those senior and more popular webtoons to be featured in english, then it will be much harder for a baby webtoon like 'hate you 999 times'

Author needs to get offer from english webtoon i guess, and it's not easy (you can read my previous reply explaining how it's difficult for indonesian webtoons to get officially translated to english).. It's easier if author started from english canvas, i saw some indonesian and malaysian authors that get featured in english webtoon, all of them started from english canvas

So even if you ask the author, i don't think they can give you answer, and most likely it's also their dream to get featured in english webtoon but they can't

English webtoon is really selective

And if you think english webtoons translate a lot of korean webtoons, then you're wrong, indonesian webtoons probably translate korean webtoons twice as much as english webtoons, webtoon app is originally from korea, but popular korean webtoons like gangnam beauty or stranger from hell can't even make it to english webtoon, so you can imagine how hard it is for indonesian webtoons with eggnoid as the only representative in there
