I don't think submission or domination has anything to do with it. In Japanese, uke means the bottom and seme means the top. Basically the sex positions.
Now a bottom can certainly be dominant meanwhile a top can also be submissive in the relationship.

Ah I see srry i wasnt too sure if it meant dom/sub or bottom/top. I googled it and it said dom/sub so I just said that lol. Thx for the correction
