To me, it appears he's on Heinry's side with an inclination to chaos. Like, if you think about it most of his actions benefited Heinry, but he also created some mischief

Heinley and Ergy are teaming up to destroy the eastern Empire. Ergy wants land while Heinley wants to reduce Eastern Empire's influence and power. Reason why Ergy is so close to Trashta, is so that he can gaslight and manipulate her feelings. She ends up cheating Sovieshu with him.

Also as I am reading the novel, I do want to say: this Broad Trashta gets WAAAAYYY worse than I ever anticipated from her as a character. Like it's...it's real scary. Y'all might even feel bad for Sovieshu for real, that's just how bad she becomes.

Sovieshu deserves it and I don't feel any pity.

It's revealed (slightly) that Ergy is on some "Generational" Plot Revenge against Sovieshu. The land thing is just an excuse or a way to make him and the empire even more miserable. Just wanted to let you know...

In addition to the lies and money thievery, girl starts commiting murder and hiring hits on people including...Navier's parents. And Navier didn't even do shit to her cause she with Heinly in his Kingdom living their own world. There's more but y'all are going to have to wait for the updates. Trust me, this one of those stories you want to stick to the end...or at least up until Rashta is confronted for all her evil doings.

I could read a novel all about her getting the karma she deserves. I don’t know she gets on my nerves that I just wanna see justice get served.
