What's wrong with being a house wife? You are taking care of your household and child, it's a blessing some women can do that( like they're financially stable enough to do this). The way i see this issue is as a woman you're either in a very successful career neglecting or not having (your)family, specially kids, or you're fully devoted to your partner and kids. But i think both are a choice, if i want to bevome a CEO i can, if i want to bevome a mom and a housewife I CAN. It just irritates me, when people look down others choices as if they were forced.
I know there's a middle ground, you're working and also taking care of your family with the best of your abilities. But as time passes, you end up making a choice, either you take the opportunity to keep climbing up in your career or you decide to step back a bit and prioritize your family. Either way, it's your choice.
well, I haven't read the manga, it just appeared in the recommendations but I have watched the anime and didn't like it bc the FL was WAY TOO submissive so I just wanted to see the ending to see how did she change, and by the end seems like she just had a kid and became a housewife, nothing wrong with that but I guess that fits her personality, that's why I said: "figures"
some character changes their personalities after a big accident or something but I guess she continues to be the same even after the anime....i was just hoping for something more....
I mean she has her own online shop where she sells jewelry, vases, and other glass items. Taking care of a child and doing chores along while managing a shop is already amazing for someone “way too submissive”. And it’s a school life manga, what big accident would you expect to make her have a complete change? Getting married and having a happy life is a huge goal for some people. (●'◡'●)

Many choose to sacrifice a career, or just have a part time job or go freelance so they can be a Mum and taking care of their home, it doesnt make them less intelligent or so utterly self sacrificing that they are not living a life they want. I'm entitled to my own opinion, and in MY opinion, being a housewife after 15 years of education (you start preschool at 3 and finish high school at 18) is just a waste of time and money, and I don't even know if she went to university coz that would be a shame (since she would have to pay back the student loan and all) if she was just going to become then why bother to go to school for 15 yrs? if women are planning to stay at home, then they can just learn the basics (a little math, read and write)...my point is that women don't need a lot of education to cook, clean, raise a child, and care for a husband... that sounds bad but is MY honest opinion and yes, I'm a woman too.

I am not sure how old you are, but I wish you a good life one day. I AM a housewife and Mum with a Masters education( who yes, reads yaoi on pirated sites in my freetime).
And thanks for telling me all I need is to just "learn the basics" to take care of my home and kids, I love how other women just love to shame us, demotivate us and pidgeonhole our lives and put us into the place they think we should be. Just like you're entitled to your opinion, here's mine: why do you think a mother raising her children and being a housewife with a good education is a waste of time and money? Do you even know what is raising a kid? I think there should be schools and universities with proper degrees on how to be a parent.Even then there's no amount of studying enough to be a proper parent ( to expect the unexpected). I just don't understand how you completely detach education from raining a child, that's hilariously ridiculous and very scary. We need more educated moms and dads to have a better society with decent human beings. And just FYI research has shown that the majority of the women that have "higher positions" in their career or are just successful in their careers, when given the option to choose their family or career they choose their family. So does that make them less successful? Have their hard work from half a life time been a complete "waste of time and money"?? NO that's nonsense. The world is a mess and a huge cause of it is lack of education and ignorance. If every parent knew the importance giving a healthy childhood to their children we wouldn't have trauma, mental illnesses that are shackling us and our lives on a daily basis. I suggest you reconsider your perspective for your own benefit.
