Yeah, I also read a japanese manga that if gay couple are married to take the last name of the other family it means one of the have to be adopted to the other family so if they announce their marriage it's just be treated as family registration and that's actually sad that gay ppl cant be married normally like straight couple :(
I think it’s specific to Korean culture that marriage = practically blood relatives. Second time I’ve encountered this. Another was a kdrama where the FL had to break up with a guy bc he was her EX-brother in law and the family considered it incest. I SOBBED tears of PURE FRUSTRATION. ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
