Guys I'm really curious about nosebleeds. I wanna know if getting a nosebleed from something (except a punch) is true or just an exaggeration to show how stunned, shocked or amazed you are by something... I never got one so I don't know what to guess. Can you please tell me??? (●'◡'●)ノ

Well, my nose is actually very sensitive and is easily prone to getting nosebleeds. I get nosebleeds when force is pushed on it from a punch, falling on my face, or someone throwing something at my nose and more ways I get nosebleeds is when I go from a hot temperature place to a cold temperature place really quickly and my nose starts to bleed a lot. I also had a nosebleed when I read a really smutty part of a fanfiction and a yaoi maga but I don't know what happened there.

They can happen randomly, google it...mine stopped when I reached my teens but my brother's nose will bleed from stress. No pain really, just messy. Slight pain if serious.

I've never had a nosebleed, but in elementary school a girl in my class got them 2-3 times a day.
It depends on the person, some people never get them, some people always do. I don't know if getting nosebleeds by blushing/seeing something ecchi is real tho, lol

People don't actually get nosebleeds by blushing/seeing something ecchi. That only happens in mangas and animes and that thing about getting a nosebleed from seeing something hot comes from anime and manga and not real life.

I didn't get nosebleeds till stupid doctor put a que-tip up my nose. It really hurt. if they EVER say they need to do a test make sure to ask what the test is for and what is done in the test. cause now they happen on occasion when I blow my nose.

I don't believe that the test is the sole cause of your more recent nose bleeds... If you blow your nose too hard or too excessively the pressure build-up can cause your nose to bleed, even if nothing has been physically stuck up your nose. In addition, if you pick at the inside of your nose, the scratching that occurs can break skin and cause nose bleeds. Also, for those who don't already know, if you do end up getting a nose bleed, apply constant pressure to your nose and DO NOT tilt your head back in order to prevent yourself from ingesting too much blood.

I don't mean putting a que-tip I mean SHOVING IT UP THERE. uh, too the point it had blood when it came out.... then they did the other side <shiver>

and until then I had NEVER had a nosebleed. I don't think its stress or scabs. there's a big difference between scabs (those happen but not what I'm referring to). how about you nose draining blood instead of boogers. that type of nose bleed. ... just remembering makes me sick _~_'

Haha. Nosebleeds happen based on how close the capillaries IN your nose *little blood vessels* are to the surface. And how thin and breakable they are. Temperature is more likely to cause them... But if a person rarely gets nosebleeds its only cause the capillaries are not close to the surface.
