They are on their class trip. Cirrus secretly added his name to Skylar's group and he is less than happy as you can imagine. So despite Cirrus' attempts to provoke him Skylar has been ignoring him. This is really bothering Cirrus. In ch22 we discover that Skylar hasn't been taking his pills for a very long time and has been hiding them in his room.
At the end of chapter 23 he seems very distressed and has a conversation with his sister on the phone about the pills his mum found. Everyone else went to the auditorium to practice for the talent show, except for Skylar who stayed behind in his room because he was 'sick'. Cirrus makes an excuse to go back to the room to see Skylar alone but the room is empty. He hears noises from the bathroom. He knocks but Skylar doesn't answer so he opens the door and the chapter ends there. But I'm getting the vibe that Skylar is feeling suicidal which has me really worried about what Cirrus is going to find

I think Skylar has tried to kill himself and Cirrus will find him and help. I felt so uneasy during that whole ending scene. Something felt very wrong. Skylar may have taken an overdose or something. I just hope he's OK. Maybe Cirrus showing genuine concern and comfort will bring them closer?? I really like Cirrus even though he is an ass most of the time. He wants to get closer to Skylar but doesn't know how to approach him. I know Cirrus was the one who triggered Skylar's recent PTSD and his behaviour hasn't helped matters, but Skylar is already a very sick boy. He has been off his medsfor quite a long time and that obviously is having an impact on his mental stability.
Damnn I really hopes he’s not suicidal. They both got issues but I think cirrus will use a little more common sense this time around
I hope so!!!! I'm just so worried for Skylar. I need the next update like NOW!!!!
