welcome everyone to the spoiler waiting room! I agree with yall i wanna see some blood spill from that family and the prince. Im guessing that our FL's mom cheated on the count and she isn't his or it could be the popular "she killed his beloved wife in child birth" scenario (my least favorite of them all). the last option is the rare but classic-her dad was the original count and he had her family killed and adopted her to steal her wealth and marrying her off is the only way to steal her title permanently setup. Idk why else he would so passionately hate his own kid like that.
