no she is the daughter of nobility, but I guess princess is her title? It reminds me of Russian nobility where prince or princess can also refer to people outside the royal family.
Found this paragraph on Quora about it
“ There used to be an aristocratic title before the 1917 revolution, which is normally translated into European languages as prince|princess. That is not quite correct but it’s hard to come up with a better translation since the systems of aristocratic ranks and titles in Russia and various European countries were not identical. The Russian ‘princes’ (in Russian: князь (prince), княжна (princess by birth), княгиня (princess by marriage) were not royals, there were just nobles. They were more like non-royal dukes and dutchesses. Many of such families were descended from the rulers of the many Russian principalities of the middle ages, when their ancestors were indeed princes, more or less in the European sense, but Russia was not centralized back then. ”
Hello! So basically she’s a princess but she seems a duchess for me? Like is she a princess from different country and tutor a prince from the other different country cos the maids and others kept calling her princess? Is she really a princess or is that just the mistranslation?
