I felt bad for him too, but remember that he did attempt molestation on Azusa and almost punched her in the act. He may have loved her, but his fear of being inferior mattered more than his love for her.

i gotta feel bad for him, i'm guessing he felt inferior to kawaguchi so he changed in the end he dies i feel terrible right now , love the story but u gotta feel sorry for every one in the story as well
