Why everyone at Taichi's side??!!

They like Taichi coz he is the underdog in this situation. Most people sympathize with him and would like to cheer him on. His struggle towards getting Chihaya's affection is described greatly too. Arata on the other hand already has Chihaya's affection and we don't really see his own struggle.

I actually like Arata to be with Chihaya too. But if she ends up with Taichi, it's still okay I guess. I'm just more of the originally introduced couple.

I don;t like Taichi, so I prefer Aratawith Chihaya, since I don;t like Taichi's personality..
but I think it'll be interesting to see taichi with shinobu, but, there is no sign of them together, but I still think that this pairing will be interesting..
well, I always fond of many crack pairings...

> Taichi is popular (not only in the manga apparently) = Arata only has admiration from his close friends and family.
> Taichi is smart and athletic = Arata has Karuta.
> Taichi is rich = Arata has to work (they are poor).
> Taichi lives in Tokyo (w/ Chihaya) = Arata is in Fukui (far far away)
> Taichi is in the same school and club as Chihaya = Arata is not. (so far but yet so near)
> Taichi has more exposure in the manga and anime = Arata has less and often seen in Chihaya's memory only.
> Taichi's feelings was shown more = Arata has to work his best to be able convey his feelings.
