should i read?

i’ve tried before but the plot wasn’t really progressing as fast as most shounen ais i’ve read so i quit sort of early in. i know that the yaoi starts later/when they get older and i also know that a lot of people who like bls that i like like this too. should i read, and does the drama/plot pick up eventually cause ik this is really long but i had to have read at least like 30+ chapters before i quit i think.
